About your Guide

Kelli Jordan

As a private guide at the National Gallery, my focus has been on curating guided tours and arranging private dining and other experiences for embassy guests and executive teams during their visits to DC or for special occasions. I have a degree in art history from the University of Washington, and was previously an Ami du Louvre, leading a monthly art club and tour at the Musée du Louvre during my time as an expatriate in Paris before relocating to Northern Virginia. I love sharing the history and stories that live within the National Gallery; of the art itself but also how it came to reside within the Gallery.

Many people don’t realize that our Gallery rivals the best museums in the world and holds treasures that once adorned The Louvre, The Palace of Versailles, The Hermitage, Alte Pinakothek, The Uffizi and Pitti Palace and many others. How did Americans come to possess these priceless works of art? Well, I’d love to tell you but you’ll have to book a tour to get the full story.
